I hope you had a great weekend. We took it quick and did not do much. I’ve performed very a little bit of buying but have not wrapped a thing. Every single day I glance at my massive pile and say, I’m gonna wrap today, and then by no means do!! haha!! I’ll get to it soon.

So sweet! I liked the makeover I gave it but that was with the assumed of me not retaining it. As it were, it would have been great in a Florida place, porch, sunroom, etc. But I didn’t actually enjoy it painted/decorated that way in our residing room.
I resolved to paint it.
I considered I’d give it a enjoyment end with this dark blue underneath. (Seaside, lovely coloration)
Then portray a lighter shade around top… (French Eggshell, also gorgeous!)
And I required to deliver some of that darkish blue through…
So I utilized a wet chip brush and brushed some of the lighter blue away in the middle places.
Sanded the edges a little bit and accomplished.
But I did not appreciate it blue. Boo!!! Far too a lot blue.
I need to have it a little bit extra neutral.
But Ryder goes just correctly in right here! He’s just appropriate. )
Soooo, I repainted it!
Like I generally say, it is only paint, correct?! Really do not adore it? Repaint it!
This time with Cobblestone, which is a wonderful “greige” neutral coloration that is not way too warm. (and not as well interesting, it’s a terrific in-between heat and awesome color)
I sanded the edges to deliver the darkish through. Due to the fact I painted it the darker blue beneath, that is the shade that reveals up.
Which I’m really fantastic with. I like the trace of blue!

Well, I know this little facet ebook desk was super adorable how I produced it about the very first time.
