It is an exciting time to be part of Shiel Sexton.
We continue to grow value in our exceptional, employee-owned company, accomplishing our goals as we do. As an ESOP, we prioritize growth and advancement. In the past month, several employees have assumed new roles in the organization, which will position the company for continued and future successes.
Kevin Hunt has transitioned his chief operating officer duties, expanding his responsibilities in his role as Shiel Sexton President. This shift results in the following well-deserved promotions:
Chief Operating Officer (COO), Construction: Matt Barnes
As the leader of Shiel Sexton Construction, Matt will have oversight responsibilities for all construction services ensuring quality, service, and delivery for Shiel Sexton’s customers and subcontractor partnerships.
Chief Operating Officer (COO), Trades: Chuck Scholer
Chuck joined Shiel Sexton in 1989 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer Trades. With oversite of Shiel Sexton’s Trades, Chuck will provide focused strategic leadership to grow our trade offerings that partner with our Construction team as well as serving other customers. Chuck will also continue to serve as a leader on large construction projects.
Executive Vice President, Operations: Frank Duck
In this role, Frank will lead Shiel Sexton’s internal efforts to continually improve processes and drive innovation to ensure excellence in delivery of projects for our clients. He will also continue to partner with clients on large construction projects.

Vice President Field Operations: Tony Eisenhut
As Vice President of Field Operations, Tony will call upon his years of experience to lead Shiel Sexton’s superintendent team. Tony will work to ensure strong integration with our project and safety teams as well as building strong subcontractor and client relationships.
Vice President Operations: Brad Magee, Joe Shanahan, and John Green
As Vice Presidents, Brad, Joe, and John will serve as operational leaders serving Shiel Sexton and clients of Shiel Sexton Construction.
Project Executive: Brian Rooksberry and Ryan Sermersheim
In their Project Executive roles, Brian and Ryan will continue to build their teams and execute our clients’ projects.
