Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.
December for me usually starts off in a flurry of holiday decorating and shopping for the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on my list. This year is starting off in an entirely different way.
Instead, I have been all about bringing that Christmas feeling to the house for my 2 grandkiddies who are staying with Ed and I along with my older daughter and son-in-law for the whole month. As you can see – holiday decorating is going to take on a whole new look this year. 🙂 I will share the decor I have added this week.
We went out to get the Christmas tree yesterday and will get it decorated today. Christmas music is on non-stop. I love having Spotify at Christmas as we can easily change what type of holiday music we are in the mood for.
And lastly – we made the first batch of Christmas cookies called Lemon Drops. The recipe was in a cute recipe book in the Give a Mouse a Cookie children’s book series entitled, Mouse Cookies. I have an anonymous reader to thank for recommending the book to me. 🙂 It is a hit with Zoe as well as the everyone else who has been enjoying the cookies.
