Tompkins County real estate: 10 most expensive homes sold, Jan. 13-19

A house in Ithaca that sold for $416,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Tompkins County in the past week.

In total, 11 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $212,713. The average price per square foot was $131.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Jan. 13 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $150K, single-family residence at 754 W. Groton Road

The 2,108 square-foot single-family house at 754 W. Groton Road has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in December and the total purchase price was $149,900, $71 per square foot. The house was built in 1915. The deal was finalized on Dec. 29.

9. $150K, single-family house at 156 Livermore Road

The property at 156 Livermore Road in Dryden has new owners. The price was $150,000. The house was built in 2005 and has a living area of 600 square feet. The price per square foot is $250. The deal was finalized on Dec. 28.

8. $160K, single-family home at 112 E. Shore Circle
