HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Firefighters spent Tuesday early morning and afternoon battling a creating fireplace in southwest Houston.
The fire begun at John’s Wheel Restore, which is positioned in the 3400 block of Fondren, around the Southwest Freeway.
Houston Hearth Section Deputy Main Isaac Garcia mentioned the fireplace began when somebody was welding in close proximity to some stored tires.
“These firefighters did a great position,” Garcia explained. “It does appear the fire is 100% out.”
