This beautiful Swedish apartment has a mix of eclectic influences, combined with Scandinavian touches and a shaker kitchen with light grey kitchen cabinets that takes front and center in the interior design of the space.
The bedroom has rounded walls, which are painted in a beautiful sage green wall color, and an improvised hallway section is finished off with a statement wallpaper that finishes off the look of this gorgeous place.
Light grey kitchen cabinets with white subway tiles and brass hardware
The shaker kitchen lies in between the bedroom and the living room and takes a central position in the layout of the apartment. The shaker design of the light grey kitchen cabinets fits the historic character and architectural details of the apartment very well and complements the white walls and the soap-washed hardwood flooring perfectly.
The original crown molding on the ceiling has been extended on top of the upper cabinets of the kitchen to make the layout integrate perfectly with its environment.
The light grey kitchen cabinets are finished off with brass hardware and black appliances, while the white subway tile backsplash finishes this classic look off nicely. The black and white art print above the kitchen backsplash adds character and the brass peg rail is an elegant finishing touch to the look.
A minimal farmhouse-style dining area with a vintage table
The area by the kitchen window has been used for a beautiful dining area that consists of a vintage dining table combined with a variation of bentwood chairs in different wood tones for a characterful look.
The vintage ladder in combination with the Frida Kahlo art print adds a personal touch and the Golden Pothos plant is guided around the window for an interesting visual element in the space.
The wall by the dining table is decorated with two botanical art prints and a warm wood open shelf above it to finish off this beautiful farmhouse-style dining room look.
An eclectic mix of objects in a living room with light grey walls
The light grey walls of the living room complement the light grey kitchen cabinets in the adjacent kitchen. The grey complements the subtle warm tones in the flooring and accentuates the crown molding and the white window frames in this well-lit space.
The combination of the round wood coffee tables with the bookshelf in between the windows ad the vintage cabinet against the wall works wonderfully with the simple grey sofa and the faded oriental area rug in the room.
The cozy reading corner wedged in between the hallway and the vintage cabinet is made to look very cozy with the art prints on the wall and the vintage floor lamp. The magazine holder on the wall combined with the small wall shelf complements this small section of the living room perfectly.
A sage green bedroom with curved walls
The rounded walls of the bedroom make this space a one-of-a-kind interior to start with. The bedroom walls are painted in a sage green wall color which makes it round shape and the white crown molding stand out in an obvious way.
I love the way a custom headboard behind the bed offers a spot for a bedside lamp, plants, and some small deco objects.
The headboard has been painted in the same sage green color as the walls, which integrates this module perfectly in the space. The sockets have been moved onto the headboard as well, which is a nice touch.
The entrance of the bedroom has been used for a custom wardrobe module, and just like in the case of the light grey kitchen cabinets, the crown molding has been applied on top of the wardrobe modules for a seamless appearance. The vintage mirror on the wall adds a classic element to the bedroom decor.
A functional hallway section with an eye-catching wallpaper
Since you enter the apartment straight into the living room, an additional wall was constructed to create a separate hallway section. On the other side, this section has been visually separated by placing a custom wardrobe similar to the one in the bedroom.
To visually separate the hallway and living room, a statement wallpaper was applied to the hallway walls, turning it into a characterful section of the apartment.
