Takeaway Tips to Bring this Look to Your Own Home:

The mood of this living room to me feels so calm and serene. I love the fresh, comfortable and effortlessly beautiful vibe!

Here are some style take away tips from this mood board:

The key pieces in this room are timeless. They will stand the test of time (yet still look so current for today!)–the sofa, spindle side table, roll arm leather accent chair, and transitional style rug.

This space has an organic feeling that comes from from the natural colors and materials, the botanical artwork, and the woven textures in the tray, scalloped frame, and rattan lampshade on the floor lamp.

A substantially sized table lamp makes a statement. The black creates a welcome contrast to the light sofa (which is also repeated in the botanical art!).

The (faux) leather armchair adds rich warm texture to the room which always makes a room cozier.

The ticking striped ottoman serves as a charming foot rest or coffee table (the woven tray would be great on top for a more solid surface!), and also would be versatile to use as extra seating when needed.

Books are a decorating accessory I couldn’t live without. This is a beautiful coffee table book (and is also full of great stories, I have been reading it lately and enjoying it!).

Subtle shades of blue are repeated and pulled together with the ottoman, rug, ginger jar, and color of the walls.

Plants (real or even artificial like this faux fiddle tree!) always bring a room to life. A taller plant can fill a corner and add visual height. If you ever have a wall or corner that feels empty, try a tall plant! Check out these inspiration rooms with plants and greenery here.

Mood board source links are below. You could use all of the elements in this mood board to recreate the whole look or choose a favorite and incorporate it into your own sense of style. Save this to your Pinterest boards for future inspiration!
