Autodesk Construction Cloud Unified Platform

*=features on both Autodesk Construction Cloud unified platform & BIM 360

Assets | Link Asset Categories to Form Templates – Now available on web, project administrators can link Form templates to Asset categories within the Project Templates tool, increasing productivity and automation in the Assets configuration workflow. It is worth noting that Form templates created from Library and pushed to Project Templates are not supported in this release.

Files | Files in Project Templates Now on web, project admins and project members (that are template members) can add files to Project Templates and perform some operations once uploaded. When a new project is created using that template, all files are copied to the new project along with the folder structure. It is worth noting that other workflows that rely on the Files tool pause during this copying process.

Files | Duplicate File Name Scanning – Members on web can now scan their files across different folders within a project to identify which files have duplicate names and attribute values. Once a scan is complete, a detailed report will populate within the Reports tool.

Files | Improved Editing of Naming Standards* – Now when editing the name of their files, Autodesk Docs and BIM 360 Docs members can incrementally batch edit with numerical attributes.

Files | Multi-page PDF Navigation Improvements – Now viewing multi-page PDF files on web is easier! Members can now easily distinguish the number of pages within a multi-page PDF document and navigate between the pages by using the previous/next arrows or keyboard shortcuts.

Files | New Indicator Column In the Files list view, there is a new Indicator column that consolidates all the file-related indicators that we currently support, such as Published to Sheets, Publicly shared, and Sync with Bridge.

Files | Share Saved Searches – In March, we introduced the ability to save, edit, duplicate, and rerun search criteria in Files. Now, project admins can share a saved search to specific project members, improving standardization amongst project members when searching commonly used queries.

Files | Search Within Deleted Files and Folders – Now on web, members can easily locate specific documents that had been previously deleted in their deleted Files and Folders, improving the workflow of retrieving and restoring previously deleted documents.

Forms | Issue Types for Non-conforming Responses [Coming Soon]– Identify and resolve issues that come up from forms faster. Issue types for non-conforming form responses allow project members to specify an issue type assigned to a specific answer within a Forms question.

Forms | Work Log Enhancements – Better understand onsite work. The Work Log enhancements in Forms provides teams with more detailed work log information in the Forms template builder.

Issues | Additional Statuses Reach issue resolutions faster with representative issue statuses. Additional Statuses in Issues provides teams with more granular issue statuses to reflect the state of the issue to reach a resolution more quickly.

Issues | Required Fields Maintain accurate data around issues for reporting. Required Fields in Issues helps reports become actionable by only allowing an issue to be opened once specified information is provided.

Library | Import Form Templates into Library – Now on web, account administrators can import Form templates from BIM 360 and PlanGrid projects into Library in Autodesk Construction Cloud, reducing time spent recreating templates and making it easy to standardize and share best practices across projects.

Library | Revit Parameters Collections – In Parameters in the Library tool, account administrators can create a collection, create or remove a parameter, add a parameter from the “All Parameters” collection, and view Collections in Revit.

Markups | Reference Names on Markups  – Now on web, members can easily view the name of linked references associated to their markups, providing more visibility and communication of project information without taking additional action.

Templates | View Project Template & Children Project Relationships – On web, account administrators can easily visualize the relationship between project templates and the projects created from those templates in the Settings tool of the project, as well as the Project Templates tool and the Projects tool in Account Admin.

Autodesk Build

*=features in both Autodesk Build & BIM 360
**= features in both Autodesk BIM Collaborate and Autodesk Build

Admin | Auto-Assigned Subscriptions GA  – Now available in Autodesk Build for both web and mobile, account administrators can set their account to automatically assign Autodesk Build Unlimited licenses to invited members if there are licenses available. Once the invited member accesses Autodesk Build in the project, an Autodesk Build Unlimited license is assigned to them at that point.

Assets | Reorder Custom Fields for Asset Categories – Now on web, project administrators can reorder the custom field columns of asset categories in Project Templates and Autodesk Build projects. This reordered view applies to all users in the project on both web and mobile.

Cost Management | Permanently Disable Cost Side on Selected Budget Lines* – Users can now set the scope field for specific budget line items as Budget Only, indicating it will not be spent directly. No contract, actual cost, or cost change will be able to be associated with it; this is ideal for tracking items such as contingency and fees.

Cost Management | Change Scope on Cost Item Level in Change Orders* – Users can edit the scope field for individual change order sub-items. They can choose Budget Only, Out of Scope, In scope or Contingency. This helps ensure these items do not impact any cost in the budget overview if no cost is associated with them.

Cost Management | Improved Cost Management Settings Control* – A new permission setting called Project Settings has been added to Cost Management. With this permission level, Project Admins can have view-only or edit access. By default, all project admins have edit access. This change benefits companies who want to restrict the ability to change defined company standard cost settings that might be altered by mistake.

Forms | Work Log Enhancements – Better understand onsite work. The Labor Tracking improvements in Forms provide teams with more detailed work log information in the Forms template builder.

Markups | Markups and Issues on PDF Files (Mobile)  – Working on the jobsite just got easier! Now on mobile, members have full functionality for markups and issues on single and multi-page PDF files, such as the ability to view, select, create, and edit.

Sheets | Full Content Search – Now when searching in the Sheets tool, members can search for specific key terms within a drawing and retrieve a list of sheets containing that search term.

Sheets | Hide/Show tags and disciplines (Mobile) – While viewing their sheets on the mobile app, members use the toggle button to hide or show the disciplines and tags associated to their sheets.

Submittals | Activity Log on Mobile – Users can view the activity log on mobile and track the submittal progress of each item as they do on the web.

Schedule | View Schedule Suggestions in Android [Coming Soon] –Users in Android can now see schedule suggestions made on activity on the web for improved communication and transparency around elements that can impact a schedule. Schedule managers can see all suggestions made and others can only see suggestions submitted by them. This functionality already exists for iOS users.

Schedule | Suggestions Column – The list view now includes a new column for open suggestions, making it easier for users to sort and group the schedule by open suggestions. Additionally, users will be able to filter the schedule by open suggestion status. Note: schedule managers can view all suggestions and others can only see suggestions made by them.

Autodesk BIM Collaborate

** – Available in both Autodesk BIM Collaborate and Autodesk Build

Bridge for Design Collaboration – Share design packages across projects with greater levels of control and visibility. Now with the Design Collaboration layer for Bridge, teams can see the “who, what, where, and when” of bridged design packages with a timeline of events and a detailed change analysis tool all within a multi-model 3D environment.

Correspondence | Correspondence Public Beta** – Now available in Build, BIM Collaborate and BIM Collaborate Pro, Correspondence is a new tool enabling flexible communication between teams within Autodesk Construction Cloud. Users can create and manage internal and external communications with project stakeholders. This results in a centralized and connected source of truth for the project.

Autodesk Takeoff

Takeoff | Robust Comparison – Autodesk Takeoff users can now visually compare takeoff along with quantities in the inventory when comparing sheets from different snapshots and work in progress within the same takeoff package. Snapshots within Autodesk Takeoff are a great way to preserve information at specific milestones or phases within the project. New robust comparison workflows give estimators the ability to analyze and pinpoint quantity changes between different phases of their projects.

Takeoff | PDF Export Enhancements – Adding further capabilities to the PDF export functionality in Autodesk Takeoff, users now have more control over which sheets to export such as current sheet, all sheets with takeoff or just the selected sheets within the current package. Additionally, users can now specify what takeoff items to include on the sheets, giving users more granular control over the data they wish to share with stakeholders that may not have access to Autodesk Takeoff.

BuildingConnected

BuildingConnected Pro
Bid Management | Bidder List Optimization – GCs can optimize their bidder lists within bid packages so that the bid invites go to the right subs.

TradeTapp
Risk Analysis | Invitation Rule Automation – GCs can set up automated rules to auto-assign reviewers based on a set of criteria, reducing time and manual work.

Risk Analysis | Request for Corrections Enhancements – GCs can now request corrections or clarifications on vendor questionnaires by adding comments directly on submission data in TradeTapp. Vendors can then view and resolve the requests easily by locating the comment directly on the questionnaire section, streamlining communication with the GC.

Assemble

Assemble | Support for 2024 versions of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and Civil 3D – Assemble users can publish their models from the 2024 versions of Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks to Assemble using the latest publisher add-ins.
