Toronto might not be done making moves.
While the Raptors have already made two big trades this season, they still have one particular player on the roster drawing interest around the league in Bruce Brown Jr. Shortly after Brown was traded from the Pacers, it was reported that there was a strong belief he could be moved again, with the Raptors looking for a first-round pick in return.

Raptors keeping Brown

Brown has a $23.0 million team option in his contract for the 2024-25 season.
Raptors acquire Spencer Dinwiddie from Nets

The Raptors are trading Dennis Schroder to the Nets for Spencer Dinwiddie, per Wojnarowski. Thaddeus Young is also included in the deal, per Fischer.
Through 48 games this season, Dinwiddie is averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds on 39.1 percent shooting from the field.
Schroder appeared in 51 games with the Raptors, averaging 13.7 points and 6.1 assists on 44.2 percent shooting.
Raptors acquire Kelly Olynyk from Jazz

The Raptors are finalizing a trade for Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji. In return, the Jazz will receive Kira Lewis Jr., Otto Porter Jr. and a 2024 first-round pick.
The pick the Raptors are sending to the Jazz is expected to be a late first-rounder.
Lakers don’t view Brown as final piece of puzzle

The Lakers have been linked to Brown but are hesitant to part ways with their 2029 first-round pick because they don’t view the veteran guard as the final piece of their championship puzzle.
The Raptors have sought at least one first-round pick for Brown.
Dejounte Murray remains the Lakers’ priority, though talks involving D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino and their 2029 first-round pick have stalled because the Hawks aren’t willing to take on Russell’s contract.
