PARKERSBURG — The Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley has reached $100,000 of its $350,000 Funds Marketing campaign through a donation from the Mary M. Welch Advised Fund of The Parkersburg Area Community Basis.

The Arc Executive Director Liz Ford accepted the check for $30,000 from Marian Clowes, affiliate director for local community leadership at the basis.

A money campaign to raise $350,000 to restore The Arc’s Dudley Avenue services commenced in January. Juli and Madelon Kerns are co-chairing the campaign.

“Marian labored with The Arc to obtain more sources of assistance,” Ford reported. “We really are grateful for the Parkersburg Spot Group Foundation and to the late Mickey Welch who has impacted our neighborhood in so quite a few favourable approaches.
