Add Early Fall Texture with Dried Grasses and Stems – Becki Owens Blog

With the kids headed back to school, we’re looking forward to fall with its crisp weather, fun holidays, and beautiful cozy home accents. Although it’s a little earlier to go full pumpkin, we’ve got the perfect accent that looks good now but hints toward the earthier textures and warm colors you’ll be layering in a little later in the season. Dried grasses and natural stems are a favorite of ours for bringing an effortless organic vibe to a space. They look especially pretty in neutral spaces paired with warm woods and chunky woven textiles. Pair with a ceramic vase in black, white , or terracotta for a rich organic look. Take a look at some recent projects to see the different stems we have used in every space throughout these homes. Hope it gives you some great inspiration on where you might add in this affordable earthy accent in your own home!

Happy Styling!
