Spring Green Easter Table & Decor

This season I wanted to use a simple Spring Green Easter Table & Decor to keep it fresh and simple.

Hello everyone, are you getting spring fever? We are all getting ready for spring, and with Easter being right around the corner after Saint Patrick’s Day, I decided that I would do a Spring Green Easter Table & Decor this year. Honestly, I have opted to keep things really very simple, especially with Easter being so early this year, and the holidays running into each other.

One of the things I have been struggling with for a while now is “true new” inspiration with decor.  I know I have said this in past seasons, that it has been done, and overdone, and almost bores me at this point. This has been a common issue for the past few seasons, as I have noticed that the supplies and items available to purchase with supply chain issues are not really new or igniting my creative juices as they once have. Everything is all looking the same to me, or like it has all been done before. However, I am very happy with how I pulled together my favorite Easter items along with some new pieces this year.  JENRON DESIGNS EasterAgain green bunnies and just greenery in general was kind of my theme this year. I was thinking it made a nice transition from Saint Patrick Day right into Easter without having a lot of fuss with transition of decor. Like a lucky rabbit’s foot vibe and then after March 16th I tossed a few carrots into the greenery mix of my front door wreath and voila it was Easter! JENRON DESIGNS EasterAn all-green menu could be a fun way to go. Think freshly picked green beans, and Herb packed Green Goddess Pasta Salad, and my Avocado Deviled Eggs are always a hit, check out the recipe below. You can also sevre up my trusted traditional standbys like my Famous Homemade Macaroni and Cheese, which always make the cut for any holiday line up, along with my family’s retro recipe for Easy Ambrosia Fruit Salad , which was featured last Easter, but we love to keep our family traditions alive and well.JENRON DESIGNS Easter

Avocado Deviled Eggs

  • 1 dozen Eggs Hard Boiled, Cooled, Peeled
  • 2 medium Avocados halved, seeded, mashed
  • 4 slices Applewood Bacon Pre Cooked, Sliced into chunks for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice, Fresh
  • 2 tbsp Penszy Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tbps Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Chives Diced, Garnish
  • 1 Jalapeno Sliced Garnish- Optional
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro fresh chopped – optional
  • Pre cook bacon until brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes. in air fryer or in skillet. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate; set aside.

  • Place eggs in a large stock pan with hot water and slice of lemon. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cover eggs with lid set aside for 5 minutes. ( The lemon makes eggs easier to peel)

  • Prep avocado by cutting in half and removing seed. Scoop out contents with a spoon and mash with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Stir in cilantro (optional), lemon juice and salt and pepper.

  • Drain pot and fill with cold water before peeling. After peeling eggs, cut them in half lengthwise, removing the yolks into a seperate bowl.

  • In a small bowl, mash the yolks with a fork until smooth and then mix into your avocado mixture.

  • Use a small baking scoop (similar to Ice cream scoop but smaller) to fill the eggs, topped with bacon and garnished with chives.

Note: It is not recommended to premake since avocados have a tendency to brown, the mixture can be premade and sealed by pressing plastic wrap directly to the top of mixture to prevent air getting to mixture. *This is why a baking scoop in recommended for quicker serving, verses a piping technique which takes longer. Serve Immediately.

JENRON DESIGNS EasterI love these candles from Reese Witherspoon’s collection at Draper James, they are scented Orange Blossom which is a great scent for Easter. It is light and fresh with a clean soy burn.

JENRON DESIGNS EasterThe white plates are from the Southern Living collection, which are a great year-round staple. I layered the sweet little bunny salad plates I found at Home Goods as a cute little accent piece, to the green herb plates and bowls that I grabbed from PopShelf, which were actually a Christmas plate I scooped up at 90% off. They did not look Christmassy to me at the time and for under $0.75 a plate and bowl, who could say no?

JENRON DESIGNS EasterThe table runner I grabbed 2 summers ago from World Market, which just proves if you purchase basic classic style items that will mix and match you can create many fun looks for all your seasons. It pairs great with the burlap chargers, which have gone in and out of season several times for fall. I think spring is a fun time to use them, mixed with baskets too.

JENRON DESIGNS EasterI also ordered a few cute carrot patch pillow covers, you may have seen on my front porch post last week, along with these darling jute carrots to add to my table. Available via Amazon Prime with easy 2-day front door shipping!
