No. 1. Our Birthday Girl
Miss Margot is two! How do these years keep flying by? She brings so much joy to our lives and we loved celebrating her all week long. Happy birthday, Margot!
No. 2. Holiday-ing in July
Nothing like pretending it’s winter when temps outside are pushing 100*, haha. We shot our upcoming holiday collection this week and it has me excited for the season!
No. 3. Final Touches in Maryland
While some of the team is working at the McGee & Co. shoot, other team members are installing a remodel project this week! The home is a family home in the farmlands of Maryland with a classic design aesthetic – the project has been in the works for quite some time, and I am so excited to see all the finishing touches coming together.
No. 4. Summer Dresses
Even with winter decorating on the brain, I’m holding on tight to summer and these warm days. I love the easy dressing that comes with the hot weather, and I find myself reaching for dresses most days. I recently picked this one up and it has become an instant favorite – the length, statement sleeves and cut make for such easy styling!
No. 5. A Summer Makeup Must-Have
I also love to keep my makeup routine really simple in the summer – a little glow and go. I bought this blush on a whim a couple of months ago and it has been a staple every morning. The shade is so flattering and gives a nice subtle glow.
No. 6. Tapestry Moment
I am in love! We hung this tapestry on our second-floor landing last week and every time I catch a glimpse of it I just fall in love all over again.
No. 7. Cozy Season is Approaching
It feels like all seasons are converging this week – middle of summer, winter shoots and now we are looking forward to the McGee & Co. Fall Collection, which might be here sooner than later. 😉
